Today was a busy day! We were hosting an 85th birthday party for my mother-in-law. Let's just say that I ate waaay too much cake! But before the party, Megan and I made a quick trip to a sweet little shop in Walkersville, MD.
This trip wasn't about the shopping. We went to visit two of our favorite blog friends, Cassie of Primitive and Proper fame and Sarah The Thriftress.
Cassie and Sarah have teamed up to share a space at Wild Rose under the name of Persephone. Their styles blend together beautifully and their space is absolutely charming. And how cute is their logo!
I realized once I got home that most of my pictures included a piece of furniture that Cassie can't show on her blog just yet. I don't know how to do that little blurry technique, so I'll just have to keep those pictures to myself for now. Hey, I'm good at keeping secrets! But here are a few shots that I can share.
If you already follow Cassie, then you most certainly know that she loves aqua and owls. That made it really easy to find her space at Wild Rose.
This heart garland was so sweet. I really need to make one before Valentine's Day!
I am so excited for Cassie and Sarah. They are sweet and talented and present a wonderful mix of modern and vintage. I hope that Persephone will be wildly successful in their new space. If you have a chance, stop by Wild Rose and say hello.

My daughter loves owls, too, Sharon! I'm sure she would have enjoyed seeing this collection. I just painted two for her that I found at the flea and antique mart here.
