Holiday Open House and Giveaway Winner

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our Holiday Open House!

It's always such fun to connect with old friends and new friends. We have the very best customers. They are the reason we love doing what we are doing!

Special thanks to our blog friends Cassie and Emily. They came out for a little girl time without the kiddos. And Sarah (who just happens to love Christmas!) stopped by with Little Miss Olivia too. Sarah comes to shop and Olivia comes for the cookies! These girls have all been at this longer than I have and they are so inspiring. And did I mention that they are totally adorable too. Thanks for being so supportive girls!

And one of our favorite customers is another Emily, more affectionately known as Aunt Emily because she brings her sister and her beautiful nieces along to shop with her. They make it a day out in Westminster. Let me just say that they are the sweetest girls and they just light up our little house! This time Emily also brought her mom and her son along. Colin is a budding photographer and he took pictures at our sale for Emily's blog. Colin took the shot below of the girls in front of our house, thanks so much Colin! And yes, Emily has a brand new blog called The Diligent One and I had the honor this week of becoming her very first follower (on her birthday)! If you have a chance, please stop by and welcome Emily to the blog world!

We did have a momentary sense of panic when we arrived at the house bright and early only to find men in hardhats jack hammering the street. There were orange arrows spray painted in our driveway and right in front of our house- yikes! It was so loud we couldn't even think, let alone talk to each other. So what's a girl to do? I called my sweet husband and he knew exactly what I needed to hear. "Would you like me to come over and talk to them?" Not that I'm a total wimp or anything, but I was slightly freaked out. We were about to have a sale! And as Karla says, Kevin's an engineer, he speaks their lingo. Whew, crisis averted!

We all love Christmas here, so decorating for our Holiday Open House was a labor of love. Thanks so much for joining us and for all the warm wishes from our long distance friends too! We had the best time and we so appreciate all of you!

And last but not least, congratulations to our Cutting Edge Stencil winner Sanditerese @ I'm a Yarner! Lucky girl! And thanks so much to our friends at Cutting Edge Stencils for such a generous offer!

Sharon- It looks like you had a wonderful sale! You gals do SUCH a nice job. Glad your hubby had A WORD with the guys out front. Can you imagine if they had just ignored him and kept jack-hammering?

Hope you are having a wonderful pre-Thanksgiving week. We are so grateful to have our new little baby at the table this year! xo Diana

All you charge is a little help, and there is affluence available. Bethink that if you use instructions, you don't consistently accept to chase them to the letter.
