First of all, a huge thank you from Megan to everyone who voted for her Pinterest Inspired Map Project over at the map themed link up contest at Fireflies and Jellybeans! ... She Won!!! ... Megan's project represents the locations where she and Liam met, married and honeymooned! ... And now Megan will enjoy a little shopping spree at Target, thanks to you! ... Maps and globes are so popular right now and all the entries were inspiring!
And thank you for all the sweet comments on our bathroom renovation project! Believe me, this project was a long time coming! We were also very excited to be featured by some of our favorite blog friends, including a full length reprint of the original post over at Remodelaholic. Thank you Cassity and Justin!
And how much fun is this little bathroom collage! Megan put it together on Picasa. With Picnik going away, she's been trying out some of the other free photo editing sites. Susan at Between Naps On The Porch put together a whole list of options. Megan really likes Picasa and she says she's now addicted to making collages. And she says it is so easy that even I can do it! You should definitely check it out!
We've actually had a ton of questions about our bathroom renovation, some from non-reply commentors. You do know that if you are a non-reply commentor, it means just that, I can not reply to you! You can easily fix this with a change in your settings, details here.
Here's quick rundown of answers to the most frequently asked questions...
*The paint color on the walls is Still Creek (#8513). This was originally a Duron color and the formula is still available at Sherwin Williams. It's a great shade of blue that I used in the hall bathroom and in our master bathroom.
*The floor tile is Interceramic Timberlands 6x24 and the color is Nature Valley. It is dreamy!
*The wall tile is MA-12-LB 5/8 x 2 Glass and Stone Mosaic. I know that sounds vague, but that is exactly what is written on the order form and on the box.
*The electric heated floor mat was purchased online at Warm Your Floor. This was so easy to do and a real treat for your feet.
If you have any other questions, just let me know!
And as always, thanks so much for being here!

Be Inspired Features and Link Party #8
Welcome back for features and party day!
Cassie from Primitive & Proper used her favorite color aqua on this lucky $10 cabinet find.
I love the way Cassie turned up the glam factor with some gold Rub N Buff. Megan and I actually saw this one in person - a real beauty!
More pretty aqua from Retail DiYet. This hutch started out in dark pine with eagle pulls - a real transformation.
Connie from Sensible Redesign shared this beautiful French Table along with an amazing chair upholstery tutorial!
Samm from Little House in the Big D used oops paint to create the most amazing stripes on an estate sale desk - fun and unexpected!
Karen from Redoux picked up a collection of wood pallets on an early morning dumpster diving outing. She even has a favorite dumpster. Check out the amazing work bench she created!
Tabitha from Simply Home is one very patient girl. She has been working on a really cool wine cork back splash in her kitchen for over five years now.
If you have any extra corks, send them her way!

Shopping in Karla's garage!
If you remember the story of this buffet, you know that shopping in Karla's garage can be a whole lot of fun! Kelli came by for bunco, took a peek in the garage and said, "I want that!"
I think all of Karla's friends ask for a peek in the garage when they come over. You just never know what you might find in there! This pretty blue desk is another great example. Karla's friend Beth thought that a desk would be the perfect birthday present for her sister. Don't you love that! Well no need to head to the furniture store. Beth just took a walk down the street to Karla's garage.
And here she found the perfect candidate! This one came from the local Mission store. Karla said that it was so shiny she could see her own reflection, so she broke out the power sander for this one.
Beth picked a pretty shade of blue. And that's really funny, because Karla NEVER picks blue. And she spruced up the original hardware with a few coats of oil rubbed bronze.
The desk is really very simple, but it has just enough detail between the drawers to be interesting and distressing really helped give it some character.
Isn't this a great birthday present?
Now I know you want a peek in Karla's garage too, right? Well lucky for you, I was there last week and snapped a few pictures.
Doesn't that look like fun? Anyone need a chair or two? And this is just what it looks like in the winter. You should see it at the height of yard sale season!
I have two cars in my garage. What's in your garage?
