I just wanted to share a few thoughts about comments. Yes, all bloggers love comments. Making connections is the very best part of blogging! I've become friends with some amazing girls who I never would have met otherwise. And I enjoy the exchange of thoughts, tips and inspiration! And to be honest, it's just nice to know you're out there!
I try to respond to most comments, even if it's just to say thank you. Sometimes your comment sparks a thought that I'm dying to share with you. And I'm always happy to answer questions. But many questions seem to come from "nonreply commentors". That means that I have no way of getting in touch with you! If you are a nonreply commentor by choice, that's great. I'm so glad you're here! But if you ask a question and would like an answer, please have an email associated with your profile. It's just a matter of checking your settings.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to your blogger dashboard.
2. Scroll down to "Show my email address" and put a check in the little box.
3. Then scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Profile".
Your email address will not actually show in the comment section, but if I click on your name, I can reply to you. Now wasn't that easy?
I think it's against the blogger rules to write a post without a picture, so here's one of my favorite places ~ my front porch. It's the perfect spot to read, relax and just day dream a bit!
Cute little pillows, huh?
Well here's my comment ~ whoever is munching on my pillows, please stop!
It's driving me crazy!
I'm guessing it's a bird trying to get to the stuffing. But seriously, do you really need my pillows?

I love your front porch!! I thought I would have to put white on my new porch, however I really like the dark furniture with blue cushions.
I would mend those little places on the pillows and go on about life. To me, scratches, rips, etc...as long as the item isn't totally torn up...shows a history.
amen about the comments!
and your poor pillows!!!!! oh no!
Okay, I finally added my email after your little nudge here.
Sorry, but I had to laugh at the idea of birds attacking your beautiful pillows. Critters can sure create havoc when it comes to our decorating. You may want to add a basket full of natural materials (& stuffing) on your porch for them to use.
Silly bird, stay away from the pretty pillows!!
I totally garee about the nonreply thing. It's really frustrating when I can't reply :)
I do not have my email connected to my blog. You could always go to my blog and leave a comment there...I read all my comments...but that is how I do it. I did add a separate email account that is on my blog...no one uses it!!
Glad your reply works...and I do think the birds are wanting your pillow stuffing! I wonder if there is something you could do to them to make them stop...you know like when a dog wants to chew...but then again..they can smell...so, guess I don't know!!!!
thanks for the email settings tip.
love your porch!
I love the pillows and your porch! I agree, it must be a bird. They can be nasty little things.

Love those pillows- pecked and all! I agree with you- those no reply comments drive me nuts...sometimes I will go to all the trouble of typing out a reply BEFORE I realize that there is no way to reply to them...
If it's by choice, that is okay, but I do think there are lots of people out there that don't realize that they have NO REPLY on their end. Thanks for telling people how to get if off~ xo Diana
love your wicker furniture.. your poor pillows , do you think its a squirrel
oh man! your poor pillows! How awful.
glad you posted about no-reply bloggers. I hope it helps!

You are too funny! I know what you mean about no reply bloggers. My peeve is that I can't comment if they have comments embedded in their post as opposed to in a separate pop-up window (which you have, yay!) Very frustrating!
xoxo

I hope more people see this and get their email status. I had a nice comment today but could not respond.
And don't put it past the squirrels for the pillow damage. They completely destuffed some cushions on a swing. They had a really fluffy nest!
THANK you for this post. Funny because Susan from BNOTP just posted this on facebook. I hope word gets out. A lot of gals do not even know there setting is no reply.
Hi,
Just give me a call any time you want to check out an auction! I'll show you the ropes!
Gail
I stopped back by to say thank you for your comment and to say I am following you, and I am already following your. But I saw this post about comments and just had to read it. It's a great "public service announcement".
Your bird "just want to have fun"!
Correction: yours and birds. Why is it errors are only seen after being published?
I just saw this post & have to tell you that on my back porch the squirrels are the evil little culprits. They tear holes in my pillows, tablecloths, cushions, etc. Then they proceed to pull out the stuffing for their nests.
Luckily, my hubby loves to hunt...
