Spanish Moss Chest

It was love at first sight - the petite size, the chunky knobs, the bun feet. I immediately pictured this little chest of drawers as the perfect bedside table.

After sanding and priming, I used two coats on Martha Stewart's Spanish Moss (love that name), following by a white glaze (just a bit of white paint mixed into clear glaze). Yes, I'm loving the look of white glaze right now. It gives a really soft pretty look!

Now all you need is a reading lamp and a stack of good books and you're all set!

I just LOVE this project! The color is FABULOUS. Gotta try it out!

Your dresser re-do came out SO GREAT! I've recently starting repurposing old REAL WOOD kpieces and find such satisfaction in it.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice job Elizabeth, I love the white glaze too. I just did my mantle in blue with a white glaze and it makes it so dreamy and soft looking.
