May Garden Party

Happy May Day!

May Day is a celebration of spring, flowers and renewal.
So of course we should have a party!

Last year we hosted a monthly garden party from May through September. It was so much fun, I thought we should do it again! A new party will begin on the first of each month and you are welcome to visit and link up as often as you like. Any garden or outdoor related project is welcome, including ways to bring the beauty of nature indoors and recipes using your garden bounty. Even if your garden space is limited to herbs on your windowsill or a pot by the front door, feel free to share!

Don't you just love playing in the dirt?
There is just something very hopeful and optimistic about planting a garden.

Daffodils, tulips and flowering trees are taking center stage here in Maryland right now. But this is just the beginning and I know an explosion of color is right around the corner. Here's a little peek at what's been happening in my garden so far .....

And this year, I'm looking forward to having a little garden helper.
I'm pretty sure she's going to love playing in the dirt too!

Now let's celebrate May Day and have a garden party!

Elizabeth and Co.

*Link up any outdoor/garden related project you'd like to share - what's growing in your yard or garden, patio gardens, landscaping ideas, outdoor related craft projects, garden furniture and décor, bringing the outdoors in, garden fresh recipes and of course we love pretty porches and patios too!

*A link back would be appreciated, especially if you'd like to be considered for a feature.

*Link up as often as you like throughout the month!

Can't wait to see what's happening in your outdoor world!

Hi Sharon, I accidently loaded up non-garden links :( Can you delete them for me, I can't seem to figure that out. Sorry.

Your spring garden is enchanting, but my favorite bloom there is your little helper. I'm happy to see your garden party is back; it inspired me to go to the nursery Friday, and I got most of my perennials and my deck pots planted yesterday. Hopefully, they'll be photo-worthy by next month's party. Yay! Happy Spring, Sharon!

I'm sooo NOT ready to show off anything. I have been busy, almost a couple of hours every day. Work in the dirt, then dust myself off and then off to play with projects.... the fun part of my day.

Everything looks beautiful Sharon, especially that sweet Clare!
