Hello Sharon!

I am always amazed at how you put together such awesome tag sales! If I had the wherewithal I'd take the lot. I also wonder how you and the ladies got started doing tag sales and how it turned into a business. Are there any posts in the archives about how you got started?

Hope you'll have great weather for the sale. Can't wait to see the followup posts.

Wow! As always - spectacular! Every time I see your pre-tag sale pictures I get so much inspiration from your vignettes and the colours you use on the individual pieces.
This time I don't have one vignette I like more than the others so they're all my favourites.
As for furniture and some of the other items, I could take most of it home but I do have some favourites: (1) the waterfall dresser showcasing the wood grain down the middle - I have one very similar and stand looking at it trying to decide if I can do something to change the colour yet show off the beautiful wood grain and now you've shown me how; (2) the wreath with the large mums in the first picture - definitely the nicest I've seen this fall; (3) chenille wreath - the first I've ever seen and what a great idea; (4) all of the jewelery boxes (I still have all my wooden ones from my teens) but I like the one that is sitting on the octagonal black table the best - the colour is great and the level of distressing is just perfect for me; (5) the yellow/gold wooden table with the bowl of stars on top as well as smaller ones in orange and another in red - I have one that is so similar and now I can see what it will look like painted - yay!. Every time I look at the pictures I see something new.
I've asked for the colours and finishes on furniture before but have never had any answers but some day I hope someone will feel sorry for me and help me out! :-) The one commentter (sp?) said she was sad she wasn't nearer so she could come to the sale - I agree but on the other hand it's just as well I'm not closer as I'm not sure Customs would let me across the border back into Canada with a car full. Hmmmm, have never been to Maryland maybe I'll have to schedule a trip to co-incide with one of your tag sales! Hmmmm, again!
Thanks as always for the great inspiration!
Cathy
