Be Inspired Features and Link Party #81

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back for features and party day!

Elizabeth and Co.

Wow, can you believe it's August already? The heat wave has ended and the leaves are already getting crunchy. Where did the summer go? ... Now let's check out this week's party features!

For this project, Deb from Twice Nice was inspired by paint-by-number kits - remember those?

But seriously people, this is a dresser! I had to keep looking at it to believe my eyes. It is hand drawn with craft paint. Deb, you outdid yourself on this one!

I like to share before shots from time-to-time as a reminder of just how much work often goes into a piece long before you can even pickup a paint brush. This dresser for example had water damage, drawers that didn't work and a top that wasn't even attached in spite of the many nail holes!

Now check out the after from Shanna at Restoration Redoux.  If you didn't know better, you'd think this beautiful antique dresser had always been in pristine condition!

I love all the gorgeous details on this piece from Urban DEN. That mirror is a work of art!

And this architect desk from CJ at Juniper & Roses is a stunning piece of furniture! She finished it with hemp oil, something I need to try.

Amanda from Dixie Delights shared the reveal of her curb appeal project and the results are stunning from every angle!

These faux metal letters from Rachel at {Like A Saturday} are not only very cool, but super easy and thrifty too!

Rachel also shared a great little tutorial to make this beautiful DIY Vintage Necklace!

The Pin Junkie found the perfect way to use up all those zucchini growing in your garden and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time!

And how beautiful is this Simple & Easy Blueberry Tart with Pineapple from Rosemary & Thyme!

Finally, if you've ever experienced the thrill of a great find on the side of the road, you will love this thrifting adventure from my furniture painting friend Susan at Sunflower Hugs. I guarantee it will make you smile!

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up and linked back!
We so appreciate having you here. If you've been featured, feel free to grab a cute little button from the sidebar!

Now on to this week's party...

* Link up your furniture makeovers, DIY projects, home decor, crafts, recipes, thrifty finds, etc... We want to see whatever is inspiring you at the moment!

* Grab a party button or link back in some way. You must have a visible link back to be considered for a feature!

* And we'd love to have you follow along with us!

We'll be back next Tuesday with features and a brand new party. Now let's be inspired together!

Such a fun roundup! I cannot believe that first piece is a dresser, and I so loved painting those "Paint by number" pieces! Those are now a sought after collector's item. As long as hook rugs don't make a big comeback, we are safe! I laughed so hard at Sunflower Hugs story, I saw that last week. I am surprised that hasn't happened to me!
