Hope you all had a spectacular 4th of July holiday! We enjoyed a long weekend away with our all-grown-up children. I loved every minute of it! ... Now let's check out this week's party features ...

Katie from Craptastic shared this awesome DIY patio table with an interchangeable centerpiece! I'm kind of swooning over the yellow chairs too!

Love this card catalog coffee table from Crafty in Canada!

You know painting furniture involves a whole lot more than paint, right? Just check out the condition of this dresser before ...

... and after a whole lot of magic (hard work!) from Helen at Picked & Painted!

I think I would have had trouble parting with this beautiful gray dresser with milk glass knobs from Angela at Number Fifty-Three! I just love the curve of that top drawer!

Susan from Uniquely Yours or Mine shared the step-by-step transformation of this ...

... to this! Seriously amazing!

This trunk table was created as a Father's Day gift for a husband who loves trunks - lucky guy! You can check out all the details over at Transformations by Jacqueline.

Patti from Old Things New took a thrift store tiered wire basket and filled it with succulents - so pretty!

How cute is the patriotic silverware and napkin caddy from Rebecca at Creative Dominican! Perfect for picnics and parties all summer long!

These blueberry mojito popsicles from Twigg Studios are so pretty! And don't they look so refreshing and delicious!

Legs, the long and short of it!

Just a quick post of a few recent tables projects with all sorts of cute legs!

Old sewing machine cabinets make really great bedside tables, especially with today's higher mattresses. This one was in pretty good shape, it just needed a fresh finish.

I sanded just enough to knock down the gloss and painted with two coats of homemade chalk paint made with Sherwin Williams Antique White.

A light distressing and a coat of wipe on poly finished her up.

I cleaned up the pulls with Rub 'n Buff in Antique Gold.

I like to rub off enough of the Run 'n Buff to keep the look natural. If you put it on too uniformly, the hardware ends up looking a little too perfect.

And here are those nice long legs.

This next project is a little drop-leaf coffee table.

A simple pine table, but the dropped leaves add great versatility.

Again I mixed up some homemade chalk paint with a mix of leftover blue paint.

I glazed the top for a nice beachy feel.

I still like Valspar's Clear Mixing Glaze. I just added a little white paint following the directions on the bottle. It's so easy to use.

Just brush it on with a sponge brush and wipe it off with a soft cloth. I keep a wet and dry cloth handy. If I don't like the look, I just wipe it off with the wet cloth and try again. Seriously, glazing is pretty foolproof!

A quick easy update!

And do you ever finish a quick project and then stand in your garage with a wet paint brush looking for something else to paint? Well that's pretty much how I ended up with two blue coffee tables and no before picture of this one!

I think she sports some cute curves!

And a little distressing make the curves even better!

Then I forgot to take after pictures before she got delivered to Main Street for our next tag sale. So here she is out on the porch!
Three quick easy updates. Don't you just love paint!

And oh my goodness, our summer tag sale is less than two weeks away! Preview posts coming soon!

Be Inspired Features and Link Party #76

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back for features and party day!

Elizabeth and Co.

I can not believe that the 4th of July is upon us already! I'm not sure I've even gotten into the groove of summer just yet. Is time flying by for you too? ... Here are just a few of the projects that caught my eye this week .....

I recently wrote about an evening with my book club. I hope it inspired you to think about starting a book club of your very own. And if you need a little more inspiration,  check out this beautiful book themed tablescape from Diane at An Extraordinary Day!

You really can't go wrong with fresh flowers, blue mason jars and book pages!

You know I have a weakness for dressers and this blue and white cottage dresser from Pneumatic Addict Furniture is so charming! And Elisha even shares her recipe for making dark antiquing wax!

Reeves from The Weathered Door was also feeling the blue and white color combination on this beautiful dresser! Doesn't the pop of white hardware just make it look so fresh!

Reeves also had a great tutorial on how to upholster a chair!

And I'm loving the white top and trim on this gorgeous vintage dresser from City Girl Arts - so pretty with the teal!

You really need to check out this radio cabinet before ...

... to fully appreciate the stunning revamp from Lisa at Create Inspire! I'm telling you, this girl has vision and mad skills!

And do you see that hardware? Swoon worthy for sure!

And how gorgeous and sophisticated is this chest of drawers from Susan at Uniquely Yours or Mine!

Denise from Pink Postcard shared her beautiful farmhouse style laundry room reveal!

And Katie from My DIY Habits gave her laundry room a fresh new look for under $200. So bright and pretty!

Melissa from Daisy Mae Belle shared her cute canning jar lid wreath. I've seen them before and wondered how to keep the lids in a nice uniform circle. Melissa shares her secret!

Don't you just love Melissa's yard!

And Tuula from The Thrifty Rebel turned some thrift store bags into planters for her back deck. Don't they just make you smile!

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up and linked back!
