I know what you're thinking ... please don't say Christmas!
I'm with you, it's really way too early to be thinking about Christmas. I like to enjoy my holidays one at a time. And it's not even Halloween yet!
I don't break out the Christmas decorations at my house until the weekend of Thanksgiving.
But here at Elizabeth & Co., our Holiday Open House is just two weeks away. So this weekend, I went into Christmas mode a little early!
This weekend was all about wreaths, bows and frosty pinecones!
I've been working with the girls at our little house on Main Street and by the end of the week, it should look like Christmas has arrived!
It may be a little crazy, but the beauty of having our holiday sale before Thanksgiving is that we can then close up shop and enjoy the real holiday season with our families with no pressure to paint, craft or sell a single thing!
And that is a beautiful thing!
So for the next two weeks, it's all about Christmas!
And then we rest!!!
Okay- That's it! You are officially the Wreath Woman in my book from now on! Merry Christmas!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful things for the holidays. Don't blame you about starting Earley and be able to spend time with family. Sounds like a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, Sharon!
Loving those burlap bows! And I love that you have your sale early... both so you can enjoy your holidays and so folks like me can fill up our Novembers with fabulous Christmas shopping :)

Such beautiful wreaths Sharon, but I am with you...way too early for Christmas...I too like to really enjoy these wonderful fall and winter holidays one at a time. You are smart though to get your sale early so you can enjoy Thanksgiving. That is a very clever move on your part. Wishing you the best of luck with it!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!

pretty! the frosted grapevine is my fave!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, Sharon. You are so talented in so many ways. :) I hope you have a wonderful sale...I'm sure I will have to wait until your next sale because I may have my hands full during this one. :)
ReplyDelete50 something days left till CHRISTMAS .. love all your pretties. Just beautiful and made me flash over and think of all the christmas fun.. HUGS and have a blessed new week my friend
ReplyDeleteSharon,
ReplyDeleteI think that is a fabulous plan... work now, enjoy the family and the holidays! :)
I never tire of looking at your beautiful wreaths and door decorations. They look so simple to make, but I'm telling you, if I walked away from my computer, into a room of supplies and naked wreaths, I would NOT be able to make anything pretty. So envious of your natural talents!

I am normally the same way. Wait until after Thanksgiving to get decorating but I think this year I'm going to start Christmas crafting a little earlier so I'll have more time in December to do fun stuff with the kiddos.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a talent for making wreaths. I love each and every one of your creations. I have to say though that I'm are really like the basket filled with greenery and berries - it would be my favorite.
Sharon, were you a florist previously? Seriously, those are all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt may seem early to us, but your motivation of wanting to enjoy the holidays more without preparing for a sale makes so much sense! If I don't see you, I hope the sale goes fabulously!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend your Open House one day...if I just wasn't sooo far away. I do look forward to window shopping and I wish a great show:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
How fabulous! Wish I could be there.

And a well-deserved rest it will be! Your wreaths are just stunning, Sharon! I used to be part of a group of women who met once a week to make dried flower wreaths for a charity we set up. It was so much fun! Yours are just so gorgeous, and it appears that you're the queen of bow-making! You must be so excited for this holiday tag sale, and for what's to come afterwards...
