Where has everyone gone?

Okay friends, this is a totally random post. First of all, I'm dealing with a really annoying computer related glitch. My Google Reader is empty. I've lost all but a handful of the blogs I follow. And yes it's true, I follow several hundred blogs. You were there yesterday afternoon. Then suddenly last night you were gone - poof! ... Where oh where has everyone gone? ... Has this happened to anyone else? ... Thoughts, suggestions? ... Help!

Well now you know I really can't write a post with no photos, so here's a peek at what's been happening around here the last few days.

I'm craving some robin's egg blue in my life, so I'm making pillows. I've been crushing on this fabric (Waverly Ballard Bouquet in Robin's Egg) for the longest time! And robin's egg blue paint is on the horizon!

Megan picked a really beautiful linen Ikat fabric (Robert Allen Khanjali in Glacier) for new curtains. They are lined and totally awesome! And let me just tell you that crawling around the floor for hours is like a workout with Jillian!

And I'm back to pouring over carpet samples. I'm leaning towards Mohawk SmartStrand. It feels dreamy and is eco-friendly. Anyone have this in your home? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

So there you have it, my totally random thoughts for today!

I sure hope you all find your way back to my Google Reader soon!

  1. Oh, Sharon!!! How absolutely awful!!! I can't imagine losing the blogs I follow. Are you on Blogger? If so, you should be able to go in and restore them. I am sorry that happened to you! I keep most of the blogs I follow on my sidebar and then I can see whenever there is a new post.

You know that robin's blue fabric? Don't laugh but I have a jacket made out of that- I couldn't resist....lol

I haven't made curtains/drapes in a LONG time- xo Diana

  10. Oh Sharon, I feel for you! I read all my blogs in Google Reader too. This is probably a silly suggestion, but the only one I could think of. Are you sure you didn't accidentally get signed out of Google? I still have all mine (reading this post in it), so it must be something on your computer, not Google Reader. I hope you get them back! And I was crawling around on the floor today with fabric. I come from a long line of floor crawlers. ;) The curtains look like they're coming along really well. And I can't wait to see the pillows. Enjoy the rest of your week!

  11. Hoping we show up soon! And I'm loving that color scheme. I'm starting a craft room make-over. I'm planning on painting the walls robins egg blue and doing red accents. Once again we're on the same page!

  12. That stinks! It happened to me before it randomly disappeared and reappeared a while later. Hope yours comes back soon. Love the curtains and pillows. :)

  13. Give it time; Google took all my subscribers away once, and I almost had a heart attack. It took more than a week, but they miraculously reappeared. My fingers are crossed the same will happen for you, but much more quickly! Your pillows are lovely, and I sure wish I had knees that didn't crunch, so I could join you on the floor making curtains. Don't you just love helping Megan with her projects? It's like decorating vicariously and gives such a feeling of satisfaction to help our daughters live in beautiful homes.

  15. I just bought a jacket at the thrift store that looks like this. (Maybe it's the same one that NanaDiana has!) I'm planning to use it for fabric projects.

  24. I don't know if it has ever happened to me, I have all the blogs I read - which can look like a million on any given day - delivered to email. I don't know if that's the best way, just what I'm used too.

  28. I have pillows in Waverly that are so similar, love the Robins Egg Blue. I pretty much have that exact carpet you are picking out. We love it. Feels so good under foot. Hides a lot of kid dirt. Fun to have house projects underway!
