Cottage Green Chairs

The only thing better than finding a great little chair...

is finding a matching set of four chairs!

Single chairs are everywhere, but it's not so easy to find a nice set.

This set came from the same barn sale as Megan's Paris Grey Vanity/Desk you saw last time.

Don't they look nice and pretty now?

Chairs take forever to paint, so I used Behr's Ultra Premium Plus paint and primer in one in a soft green called Wasabi Powder. At least that eliminated the priming step.

The fabric was a remnant I'd picked up at another barn sale a few months ago. I was planning to make some pillows. But I love the cream and green combination and I had just enough fabric for the four chairs.

When recovering chairs, I always replace the foam and batting. It's just a good idea to start clean, fresh and cushy!

What a sweet fabric!

And there you have it! Not just one cottage green chair...

but a lovely set of four!

I think they'd look dreamy around a cream or natural wood table!
