Craft Paper Chalkboards

Amy is doing a studio makeover over at Whisperwood Cottage. Isn't it pretty? I would love a space like this!

And one thing that totally caught my eye was the craft paper chalkboard she created. Brilliant! And just exactly what we needed!

So I immediately whipped out the chalkboard paint. It's a simple project and Amy shares a great tutorial.

I love to see quotes and definitions on chalkboards.

And this inspiration came at just the perfect time! We have a vintage tag sale coming up next weekend here at Elizabeth & Co. (Be sure to check out the sneak peek!) And since we only host occasional sales, we try not to hang too many things on the walls. We want each sale to have a completely fresh look and we don't want the walls to end up looking like swiss cheese. So as you can see, craft paper chalkboards are the perfect solution!

This is our little reading nook at the top of the stairs, so I used quotes about books.

Thanks so much to Amy at Whisperwood Cottage for the inspired idea!

And don't forget about our burlap and ruffles table runner giveaway! We just reached the 500 follower milestone! So exciting! And so appreciated!

The runner has a burlap top and a drop cloth backing and ruffles. It is a generous 16 1/2" wide and 52" long. Wouldn't this look great on your Easter table?

You even get your choice of burlap colors - natural, chocolate brown or sage green.

To enter, just follow along with us and leave a comment here!

And thanks so much for joining us here at Elizabeth & Co. If you happen to live in the Maryland area, stop by our vintage tag sale next weekend and say hello! We'd love to meet you in person!
